Submission to the Federal Standing Committee on Finance
In April 2024, Joan Rush, CSDH VP and Advocacy Chair, spoke to the Federal Standing Committee on Finance about the provisions of Bill C-59 applicable to the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) and presented our recommendations to ensure the success of the CDCP in meeting the oral health care needs of Canadians living with disabilities.
Submission to Former Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos
In April 2023, the CSDH sent a submission to
M. Jean-Yves Duclos, then federal Minister of Health, outlining our recommendations on what must be included in the national dental program for it to achieve the goal of providing greater access to quality oral health care for people with disabilities.
